The Story of The Modern Round Table

Let me take you back to the moment this community started.

I had just moved, again, to a brand-new city. I was building my matchmaking career, pouring energy into helping others find connection.

But personally?

I was craving a deeper one for myself.

I didn’t want another surface-level women’s networking group where we all smile politely and leave with a stack of business cards but zero genuine relationships.

I wanted real talk.

Around a real table.

Over coffee, lunch, or a cozy dinner.

Conversations about life and business, not just job titles and follower counts.

Then one day, I was invited to a networking event at Soho House. I didn’t know it at the time, but that day was the spark. I left buzzing, not from the event itself, but from the handful of meaningful conversations I had.

I thought, What if this kind of energy was the norm?

So I started small. I invited a few friends, a couple of women I’d met in passing at events. I created the space I couldn’t find, a round table for deep, honest, powerful discussions.

And just like that, The Modern Round Table was born.

Why It Was Started

Traditional networking events can feel like walking into a room full of LinkedIn profiles pretending to have brunch. I wanted something different, a vetted space for women who already knew they were onto something big. Women ready for conversations that could shift their mindset, business, or even their entire life.

What I’ve seen from day one is this: when women connect intentionally, everything changes. I’ve watched women walk in unsure—unsure of their next step, their idea, their direction—and walk out seen, confident, and connected.

Who It’s For

The Modern Round Table is for women who’ve stepped into their power but know they don’t want to walk the path alone.

They’re over 30, many work remotely, and all carry an entrepreneurial mindset. Some are launching something new, others are scaling what’s already working. Some are seasoned pros. Others are in the thick of figuring it out.

What unites them is this: they’re kind, supportive, and generous with their wisdom. And when they show up, they leave their egos at the door. They want community, strategy, friends, clarity, and accountability. They want to give and receive. And they do.

Where It Happens

Right now, our round tables are hosted virtually on Zoom, with occasional in-person pop-ups in Southern California.

The vibe is business-meets-soul. Some days we’re deep in branding or scaling strategy. Other days, we’re talking about releasing toxic friendships or navigating burnout. No fluff, just real, soul-fueling conversations that matter.

You leave feeling lighter, clearer, and a whole lot more supported.

When It Happens

We currently host two virtual round tables each week for our upgraded premium members. Dates and times vary to meet your schedule, and we’re adding more as the community grows.

If you're curious, we also host a free public round table once a quarter. It’s a chance to dip your toes in and see what it’s like. Some gatherings have three guests, others have 30, but the real magic happens at the premium tables where every woman has chosen to invest in showing up. That energy? You can feel it.

We keep those groups separate because when everyone in the room is committed, the conversations go deeper, faster, and the connections last longer.

The Modern Round Table isn’t just a space.
